Green Up Central Florida - Earth Day 2012

Currently, monetary donations can be made via Crowdrise at www.crowdrise.com/projectevolve.

Our goal is to plant 300 or more trees around Central Florida. At Project Evolve, we believe in reducing the impact of humans on the environment. What better way to give back then by planting trees. Trees were here before we developed the land. Trees are one of our  most important natural resources. They may even hold the key to global warming.

Benefits of trees are far a wide. Please help Project Evolve organize this event. We can't do it without our community. We are also looking for local businesses, parks, recreation centers, homeowners, etc to donate space/land to plant the trees on.

Volunteers Needed!! We will need to start a marketing campaign, t - shirt designing (eco-friendly), food/catering, trees for donations, event volunteers to help things run smoothly, we will also need a location! Please, any ideas just let us know. We will listen!

Any money raised will go towards pulling off the event, but we would like most of the money to be donated to another charity, Plant A Billion Trees to help them in the fight against global warming and climate change.

At the Event, people will be encouraged to bring a tree to plant around Central Florida. It can be a sapling you got from your yard (please bring in a pot for easy transport), it could be a tree you bought. Help us, Green Up Central Florida!
